Meeting Today on Dam, Levy Safety by Staff Daily Journal of Commerce, May 19, 2010

PASCO -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will hold a public meeting today to discuss interim safety measures being put into effect at levees in the Tri-Cities as well as at the Ice Harbor Lock and Dam and Lower Monumental Lock and Dam.

The agency will share information about recent safety assessments of the levees and dams from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Pasco Red Lion. There will be an informal open house beforehand, from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
