LEWISTON, Idaho - Clearwater Power Company is raising its rates for the first time in more than 6 years, with customers in north-central Idaho and eastern Washington to see an increase of about 5 percent.
Spokesman Bob Pierce told the Lewiston Tribune that the average residential customer will pay about $3 more a month under the hike. The company made the decision after the Bonneville Power Administration increased the rates it charges Clearwater Power by about 7 percent.
